Bethany Kosek

Bethany received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Judson University in 2022. She has experience working with individual adolescents (13+) and adults experiencing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal ideation, relationship/marital issues, stress/emotional regulation, and life adjustments. Bethany also has previous experience in PHP/IOP programs for mental health.

Bethany utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). By exploring both past and present life situations and thoughts, she gains a comprehensive understanding of her clients’ experiences and worldview, enabling more effective support and guidance.

Bethany believes in establishing therapeutic relationships rooted in empathy, creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients. She understands the courage it takes to confront daily struggles and is dedicated to empowering and challenging each client to achieve their counseling goals. Bethany strives to create an environment where each client can be the best version of themself, and discover their unique strengths, ultimately achieving personal growth and well-being.
