Caitlin Cantu

Caitlin received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University in 2019. She works with children, adolescents, and adults individually as well as couples and families. Her areas of focus are depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, self-esteem, ADHD, interpersonal relationships, parenting, and life changes/stressors. Caitlin utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as techniques from Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy. She begins each therapeutic relationship with kindness and deep empathy as she understands the courage it takes for people to seek help.

Caitlin is driven by her passion to help people feel heard, safe, empowered, and supported. She appreciates that each person is unique and brings something valuable to therapy. With that, Caitlin assists each client in developing goals specific to them and facilitates an environment where the client is able to realize their own strengths, build coping skills and then use them to navigate their world.
