Emily received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. She is a Certified Addiction and Drug Abuse Counselor as well as a Licensed Clinical Counselor. Emily enjoys counseling older children, adolescents, and adults and can customize her approach to different ages and personalities. Her expertise is working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders, mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, eating disorders, process addictions such as gambling disorder, grief, and trauma. She is well versed in the many treatment options available and will help you create a realistic treatment plan to fit your needs.

Emily has worked in residential and intensive outpatient treatment for co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health disorders. She understands the disease model of addiction and the importance of therapy, implementing coping skills, and working with your provider to prescribe medications when necessary to sustain recovery. Emily will work with you to find balance and purpose in your life.
